Horse Riding and High Country

Escape Sydney for a day of fresh mountain air, horse riding, spectacular wilderness, short bush walks and authentic local experiences in and around the World Heritage-listed Blue Mountains.

Enjoy morning tea in a heritage town established in 1810 before a curated horse-riding experience at the foot of the Blue Mountains, surrounded by the manicured landscapes and polo fields of the Hawkesbury.

After your ride, sit back and enjoy the changing scenery as we follow the beautiful Bells Line of Road into the mountains, stopping for a relaxed lunch and tasting paddle at a rustic cider-house showcasing local produce then stroll through the stunning Mt Tomah Botanic Gardens.

The afternoon is devoted to the dramatic landscapes of the Blue Mountains. Stand at Govetts Leap overlooking the immense Grose Gorge and a dramatic 180-metre single-drop waterfall, before exploring the Jamison Valley, seeing the iconic Three Sisters and taking a short guided bushwalk.

There’s also time to experience the character and charm of Leura - a high-country village with boutique shopping.

With spectacular scenery, horses, waterfalls, ancient valleys, eucalyptus forests, local produce and plenty of fresh mountain air, this is a personal and immersive way to discover one of Australia's great natural landscapes.
