Sydney Ocean to Plate

Enjoy an unforgettable day exploring Sydney Harbour, and then cruise out through iconic Sydney Heads for a deep-sea fishing experience. 

Your highly qualified skipper and crew will guide you through the process while you drop a line for local species including Pink Snapper, Flathead, Morwong, Teraglin and possibly Kingfish. 

All fish caught are processed using the Ikejime method - a traditional Japanese humane fish-killing technique and immediately chilled which maximises meat quality and enhances flavour. 

When back on land we head to a local waterfront seafood restaurant and present your catch to an award-winning chef who prepares each fish species in a variety of ways including sashimi, baked, grilled, whole fish or deep fried. 

While you wait, enjoy a relaxed entrée with a wine or beer before your catch-of-the-day is served with classic Aussie sides such as chips, salad and seasonal produce. 

Afterwards you'll be guided to the lively Corso, sip coffee, enjoy gelato and soak in this seaside town - where surfing was born in Australia. 

Continue with a walk along the stunning coastal path from South Steyne to Shelly Beach, followed by a visit to North Head and Fairfax Lookout, offering sweeping panoramas across Sydney Harbour, dramatic sandstone cliffs and the city skyline in the afternoon light. 

Your adventure concludes with a comfortable return drive to your hotel in the city.
